Lost and drunk, she landed in jail with no reason to live. Then one day, she turned on the radio

I was born in 1989, the youngest of four children to parents in their early 20s. My parents had a lot of trauma and few of the skills needed to raise one healthy person, let alone four. We lived in Anchorage, Alaska.
