What Will Be Will Be
As dangerous flood waters surrounded her, she used everything she learned in AA to find peace
Last year on September 26, we had a long, sleepless night of howling winds, groaning branches and wild rains pelting against our windows and house. I live in Ashville, North Carolina. About 2:30 a.m., our power went out. Twice after that great thundering crashes shook our house as old trees landed on the roof. But the strangest sound was the unearthly roar of the Swannanoa River raging outside.
