Her battle with mental health at 17 years sober was super tough, but luckily she got help and stayed close to AA
I never thought I’d be sober for 17 years and then find myself in a psychiatric ward. Yet, there I was. In 2015, I was a successful business owner living in New York City. I was active in AA, married and owned my apartment. Everything on paper looked great, but inside I continued to sink deeper and deeper into despair.
