Three Generations of Love
A sober grandson shares the beautiful story of how AA has healed his family for nearly eight decades
I grew up in a small town in Alabama in the 1950s and 60s. The town was filled with my extended family, so I got to hear about a lot of history. There was one story about my grandmother and how she got sober in AA in the 1940s. It was rarely discussed, like it was a disgrace to the family.
