Something to Celebrate

I recently attended my granddaughter’s high school graduation. As I sat in the auditorium with a few thousand other family and friends of the graduating seniors, I found myself experiencing a wide range of emotions. Beaming with love, pride and joy, I listened to my granddaughter’s long list of accolades. Her grades placed her in the top of her class. Her musical talents earned her several awards throughout her high school career and a scholarship to begin her college studies. She has a host of friends, and the bleachers were full of her parents, grandparents, siblings and cousins. We were all screaming at the top of our lungs every time her name was called. She has a plan for her future and family to support her on her journey.
