Opening Up

“A men Bob” was a member of our home group called the Brown Bag Bunch in Palm Bay, Florida. Bob used to say the same thing in every AA meeting: “I get drunk, and we stay sober.” I thought he was nuts. I wanted to know why he could drink—and I couldn’t. At that time, I had no idea what he meant.
