A Newfound Peace

Last week, I was in the hospital for lung surgery. Following the surgery, there was a need for isolation in post-op and on the thoracic surgery floor due to some other health concerns. As a result of this isolation, the hospital asked me if I would like to speak with an Spiritual Care Coordinator. With sarcasm, I said sure, I will need to speak to someone especially after telling me good news that I don’t have cancer but that I need to be in isolation until some infectious disease tests are completed.
