A longtime member in Poland shares about the wonderful growth of AA in his country over the past 40 years
I’m an alcoholic from Poland. I got sober in 1986. I first learned about the existence of the AA Fellowship from an article by Wiktor O., who described his participation in the 50th Anniversary Convention of AA’s founding in 1985 in Montreal. His article motivated me to seek help because, despite being only 28 years old, I was already facing serious problems due to my drinking.
