I Am Happy To Be An Alcoholic

I know most if not all of the general population would be appalled at the statement contained in the title, but I could not be more grateful that I am an alcoholic. In fact, while I did at one point use alcohol to try to end my life, it is alcohol and my alcoholism that not only saved my life but gave me a new way of living that I never would have had otherwise.
