Home for the Holidays

This year I went home for the holiday. It was the first Christmas after my mother died. I never realized my mom was the glue that held my family together until this visit. My sister historically has a Christmas Eve gathering and as usual volunteered. My dad volunteered to do the Christmas dinner the next day.
