The Healing Island

St. Maarten (SXM) is a half Dutch, half-French Eastern Caribbean island that I have visited frequently with my wonderful husband since our 1993 nuptials. His paternal grandfather hailed from there. This is the place where I always have the opportunity to share at AA meetings, which are quaint, intimate and, most of all, safe. A place where AA travelers from around the world can have a live meeting seven days a week, even twice a day on Sunday.
