Going My Way?

I grew up with no father, no sisters and no brothers. My mother worked two jobs while taking care of her dad, who had suffered a bad stroke. We lived in a railroad town near the water where they shipped coal out of the area on big coal boats. The town had about 800 people, lots of sailors and nine beer gardens. Everyone drank.
