Thanks to online meetings and the love of her fellows, she got through brain surgery with a new level of faith
I had been sober in AA for 34 years when the pandemic hit in 2020. That was when my sober life changed. Before then, I had been going to one AA meeting a week. I was living on the fringe of the program. In the past I had sponsors and took stabs at the Steps, but it had been a while since I really worked the program. I figured I was “sober enough.”
