The writer of “First, I Prayed” shared her story of being diagnosed with a brain tumor. Because of the work she had done in AA, she went through the surgery with lots of faith and help from her fellow members.  “I knew I would be able to cope with whatever came my way,” she writes. “I just kept going to meetings.”
