When you’re new to AA
The writer of “Lucky Strike” was not a happy camper coming into AA for the first time. He wanted no help from anyone. No coffee, no pizza, no handshakes. Finally, coming back over time helped him warm up to the kindness he was getting. Soon he was helping out and even going bowling with the group.
