I just came from an AA meeting where a heated discussion was spinning out of control. Since it was election season, you might think the topic would be politics. However, the local Fellowship has been circumspect and polite in this regard. If a member’s share drifts toward politics, dozens of bodies take a deep breath and slowly shake their heads. No, this was the other big, outside issue—religion.
