Can’t Wait to See What’s Next

On my first day in AA I was approached by the secretary of the meeting, and right away he gave me a homework assignment. I was given a list that all the guys in the group had put their phone numbers on. I was told to call and get ahold of one person on that list every day. If I didn’t reach the first person, I was to move down the list until I made contact with somebody. I just had to tell them I was checking in. That secretary told me to come back the next week and tell him about my experience with the exercise.
