Came To Believe

I was sitting in a meeting where the topic was Step Two. I was eighteen months sober and I realized that I hadn’t been able to stay sober for that length of time on my own. Was it this Higher Power to which everyone kept referring? Reflecting back on the last year and a half, I slowly realized that maybe, just maybe, that was so.
