What’s that saying around the AA campus? It starts out fun. Then it’s fun with problems. Then it becomes just problems. Looking back, by the time I was 13, I was already the poster child for that saying and countless others of our favorite AA teachings and slogans. For sure by that age I was already “swearing off with and without a solemn oath.”
