An Anniversary to Remember

When he hit bottom, he only knew one person in AA—his mom. Turns out she only knew one person too

It’s the 25th anniversary of my mother’s passing, which gave me the inspiration to share her story of 33 years of sobriety and mine as well. I got sober in 1975 and recently celebrated 50 years. My mother Joan never lost her love and enthusiasm for the Fellowship.
